Campfire stories rule!
There is something magical about them and if you've ever had the full campfire story experience, you'd know what I mean. While entertaining, campfire stories must be handled properly. There are some rules you must observe in order to keep the story telling “pure”.
The Tale of the Exploding Rock
A few of us that went to High School in the late 60s and early 70s together would all get together the weekend before Memorial Day at a Travis County, Texas park on a point on Lake Travis. It started out as a group of a few couples and singles, eventually becoming a pretty large family-type, three day weekend long gathering.

Losing Hatch
"Hatch!" I waited, hoping to hear the response I knew would never come. "Hatch, where are you" I screamed again, this time waiting ten seconds for a response. Still nothing. My empty call echoed across the entire length of the lake, reminding me of how alone we were out here.
